The Talking Bread It's over to the bakery where he's confronted with "talking" bread. Episode 2 The Best Birthday Present Ever Huckle and Lowly buy a special cuckoo clock for Mother Cat. Patrick Pig Learns to Talk Despite his talkative Irish forefathers, Patrick O'Swine can't utter a word. Grouchy Mr. Gronkle When the gang skates on Grouchy Mr. Gronkle's pond, the old koot hurries to shoo them away. Episode 3 The Busiest Firefighters Ever Huckle and Lowly experience the life of a firefighter when they 'join the force' for the day. Manuel of Mexico Manuel breaks his mother's cooking pot so he and his friend Pedro go to the market to buy a new one. The Biggest Catch Ever Three beggars, who are fishing for lunch, get the biggest catch ever — the run away balloon. Episode 4 Mr. Racoon’s Different Day Mr. Racoon leaves Mr. Frumble in charge of his restaurant while he goes in search of a change. Mario, the Venetian Gondolier Mario wants a gondola so he can paddle romantic couples around Venice. The Best Babysitter Ever Hilda babysits for Pig Will and Pig Won't and she does her best to fill the day with fun. Episode 5 The Best Mistake Ever Huckle's off to do Mother Cat's shopping for the first time when he forgets the list. Sneef, The Best Detective in Europe Sneef's sure there's a big crime to stop on the train and everyone is a suspect. Camping Out Huckle and Lowly camp in the backyard but after Kenny tells them a ghost story. Episode 6 Billy Dog’s Bad Dog Billy Dog, a new kid in school, has everyone scared because of his gruff manner. Ernest and Heidi in the Alps Ernst wants to be with Heidi on the rescue patrol, but he isn't a very good climber. Mr. Frumble’s New Cars Instead of picking up his pickle car at Mr. Fixit's, Mr. Frumble mistakenly drives off in a bulldozer. Episode 7 The Snowstorm When a snowstorm hits Busytown and the school bus gets stuck in a ditch, Hilda come to the rescue. Professor Dig and His Egyptian Mummy Professor Dig makes a great discovery - an Egyptian mummy and hurries to bring it to the Cairo museum. The Treasure Hunt Huckle and Lowly search the beach for buried treasure, but all they dig up is junk. Episode 8 The Accident The traffic light Mr. Fixit 'fixed' causes a big pile up so he offers to repair all the cars. Good Luck in Rome Maria and Frederico want to throw a coin in the Trevi fountain for luck. The Missing Bananas Bananas offers to watch Turnip Goat's bananas while she unloads her truck but the bananas disappear. Episode 9 A Trip to the Moon Huckle, Lowly, the Three Beggars and Mr. Frumble are accidentally launched to the moon. Pip Pip Goes to London Pip Pip comes to London hoping to work for the Queen. Floating Bananas Bananas wants to buy bananas so he hurries to the harbour hoping to work on the banana cargo ship. Episode 10 Hat Pie After Sally, Lowly, and Huckle help Mother Cat make an apple pie, Lowly's yodeler hat is missing. Han the Dutch Plumber Hans loves plumbing but because he always comes home wet. Hilda’s Romantic Tea Party Hilda plays matchmaker for Bruno and Ms. Honey by planning a wonderful tea party. Episode 11 A Big Operation When Huckle has to get his tonsils out, Lowly stays with him in the hospital. Cucumber, the African Photographer Cucumber and her assistant Pickles are terrified of their new assignment - to get pictures of lions. Summer Picnic All the kids and Miss Honey go up river for a picnic. When it starts raining and they hurry into a cave for shelter, everyone gets scared. Episode 12 Sgt. Murphy’s Day Off Sergeant Murphy's got the day planned - a drive and a picnic in the country with his family. Schmudge, the German Chimney Sweep Everyone knows chimney sweeps bring good luck, but it looks like Schmudge left his luck at home. Sleeping Car Adventure On an overnight train, everything goes wrong for Hilda, so she’s positive Mother and Father Cat will never hire her again to babysit. Episode 13 Busytown Regatta Everybody's building boats for the big Busytown Regatta, and Mr. Frumble's all excited. Schtoompah, the Funny Austrian Schtoompah and his friend Umpah dream of playing music in the town orchestra. Busytown Soap Box Derby It's the first annual soap box derby and all the kids build marvelous racers — everyone except for Sally. Episode 14 The Big Story Huckle and Lowly keep missing the Big Stories around town as they go after a scoop for the school newspaper. Couscous in Gibraltar Pepe and his gang of Dirty Rats escape from prison and look for a boat in Gibraltar to get far away. The Firefighter's Ball Mr. Frumble volunteers to help around the fire station, and he's a little disappointed when all he's to do is decorate for the annual Fireman's Ball. Episode 15 Scout's Field Trip Sprout Goat's really disappointed when he can't go on a field trip to the Hydro-Electric plant with Sergeant Murphy. The Great Pie Robbery There's been a terrible theft in Paris - Madame Dog's famous pies have been stolen and Sam and Dudley are called in. Clean Garage After Father Cat smashes his headlight on some junk in the garage, Huckle and Lowly help him clean up once and for all. Episode 16 Captain Willy & The Pirates A class lesson comes to life as Huckle and his classmates learn about the Olden Days of Busy Town, when Captain Willy took on a gang of mouse pirates . Flying Noodles Cucumber and Pickles arrive in Japan to take pictures of the famous noodle maker Chef Sato, but when he goes missing, they head out to find him. Roughing It Mr. Fixit takes the scouts camping to rough it in the wild, but his idea of roughing it isn't the same as what the Scouts have in mind. Episode 17 Young Vikings Inspired by Father Cat's memories of when he played Viking on a raft, Huckle, Lowly, and Sally decide to build him a raft just like the old days. Sneef Saves the Queen On a royal trip to Australia, the Queen's jewels go missing so Sneef and Sniff are called in to find them. Hilda the Director A magazine article inspires Hilda and she decides to direct her own play. Episode 18 High Flyers Rudolph Von Flugel takes Huckle and Lowly up in his airplane, but he forgets to do up his own seatbelt. Steamboat Mystery The Pigs celebrate their anniversary by throwing a costume party on a Lake Geneva steamboat. The Best Waiters Ever When Louie's waiter and chef are sent home sick, Louie hires the Three Beggars to help. Episode 19 The Big Move Huckle, Lowly and Billy Dog are having fun playing at the Busytown observatory where Billy's mom works, but the fun ends when she tells Billy they are moving. Sneef in Russia Sneef and Sniff arrive in Russia to guard a diamond framed painting which is being transported by train. Mr. Frumble Gets a Job After being helped himself, Mr. Frumble decides to get a job helping other people. Episode 20 Ambulance Cake Everyone in Busytown's getting ready for the big Hospital bake sale. The Supermarket Mystery Detectives Sam and Dudley are called upon to find out who's stealing groceries. Big Trouble for Bananas Gorilla It's Bananas Gorilla's first day on the job at Scotty's garage and boy does it start off bad. Episode 21 Sgt. Murphy's Deputy Overworked Sgt. Murphy gets "help" from a deputy just out of the academy. Couscous in Sahara Pepe le Gangstaire and his Dirty Rats escape from prison to steal the Jewel of Jewels from a passing caravan. New Friend on the Block Huckle and Lowly are hurrying out the door when Mother Cat asks them to deliver cookies to the new family on the block. Episode 22 Biggest Storm Ever A huge storm is on its way to Busytown so Sergeant Murphy evacuates everyone to a shelter. Cucumber in Rockies While on a photo shoot in the Canadian Rockies, Cucumber and Pickles must chase a runaway supply car. Sally's First Day at Kindergarten Sally's off to kindergarten, but she'd really just like to stay home and make puppets with Mother Cat. Episode 23 No Time for Bananas There's a big show in town, and Bananas Gorilla gets a crush on Ms. Coconut, the lead actress. Sniff in India The nefarious jewel thief Lady Cheetah strikes again when disguised as the Royal Fortune Teller she steals all of Prince Tusk's jewels. Sally Cat's First Trip Sally Cat is going on a trip all by herself to Sand Dollar Beach to visit her cousin Lily. Episode 24 Grand Hotel Father Cat is supposed to review the Grand Hotel for his travel agency, but as soon as he gets there, he sprains his ankle. Couscous up the Nile Pepe and his Dirty Rats are out of jail, and disguised as humble servants, they are robbing the Empress of Fazooly blind. Cat Family Ski Trip Father Cat wants the family to spend more time together, so they all go on a ski trip. Episode 25 Lowly Breaks a Leg While climbing a tree to get Huckle a juicy apple, Lowly falls and breaks his leg. Cucumber in Machu Picchu The day Cucumber and Pickles arrive in Machu Picchu to photograph the 10 golden rings, some are stolen... and Cucumber and Pickles are blamed. Penelope Parakeet Huckle and Lowly are going to pet-sit Hilda's pet parakeet Penelope, but when the little bird gets loose, Huckle and Lowly scramble to catch it. Episode 26 A Newspaper Mom To earn money to buy a stereo system, Huckle gets a job delivering newspapers. Cucumber in Rio It's the big Rio Carnival and Cucumber and Pickles are there to capture everything on film... except that everything isn't much - all the costumes are missing. Donut Raffle Humperdink the baker is raffling off 100 donuts and everyone in town is buying a ticket. Episode 27 The Knights of Busytown A game of Knights of the Busytown Round Table ends when Sally doesn't want to be the fair maiden. Cave Pigs Bump and Thump are inventors from pre-historic times, and on this busy day they come up with great ways to make life easier for the Cave Pigs. Bucketman In Busytown Mr. Frumble buys a new TV antennae but his attempts to get better reception land him stuck in a paint-splattered garbage can. Episode 28 Billy Dog Gets Glasses When Billy Dog's finds out he needs glasses he thinks his life is over. Cordelia's Debut Cordelia is a dedicated stage manager during Shakespearean times who dreams of being an actress. Lowly Joins The Circus When the circus ringmaster sees Lowly doing some tricks he gives him an offer he can't refuse, to join the circus. Episode 29 The Big Dare When Billy Dog hears the gang telling stories about the ghosts in the abandoned mill, he boasts he's not afraid. Oliver's Sandwich Young Oliver is the Earl of Sandwiches' clumsy butler, and he has a huge crush on Catherine of Roastburry. Pig Will Won't Imagine a Busytown with two Pig Won'ts. That's just what happens when the ever helpful Pig Will gets a bump on the head and turns into another Pig Won't. Episode 30 The Best Birthday Party Ever There's a birthday disaster in Busytown: Kenny and Lynnie are throwing birthday parties on the same day. Martha's First Book Little Martha wants so much to read books, but they are very rare because they must all be lettered by hand. Locked Out Mr. Frumble is locked out of his house. First he tries the windows, then an upstairs porch, but each attempt leaves his house in greater need of repair. Episode 31 Dad's Neat Job Miss Honey's new school project on what jobs your parents do has Huckle worried. He doesn't think his dad's job as a travel agent is very exciting. The Discovery of America Dona Felipa hears about Admiral Columoose's trip across the ocean, and it is just the type of adventure she's always dreamed of. Mr. Gronkle's Friends Mr. Gronkle's mother is coming to Busytown and she wants to meet all of her son's friends. Episode 32 Denys At Camp Huckle and Lowly do their best to get Denys to participate in all the camp events, but he just doesn't think he's good enough to even try. Peasant Pig's Gifts When the wedding party enters the garden they find it full of colourful paper cranes, swans and flowers. Piggy Origami's gift is the invention of Origami. Little Fixit Mr. and Mrs. Fixit are delighted to learn that they are going to have a baby. Episode 33 The School Dance Hilda Hippo has planned a school dance and all the kids are very excited, except for Huckle. He doesn't know how to dance, and he's afraid he'll look silly. The First Olympics It's Alpha, Beta, Tri, Quint, and Quad's birthdays, and their father Zorbius comes up with a great way to celebrate, a day of sporting activities. Hilda For President It's the first ever school elections and Billy Dog and Hilda enter the campaign race. Episode 34: Mr. Frumble's Brother When Mr. Frumble doesn't arrive to meet his twin brother's train, Mr. Frumble's brother heads into town to look for him. Viking Pigs Pig Pigson's crew is less than enthusiastic about exploring - they row, and row, but never get anywhere, so they give up. The Perfect Wedding When Miss Honey and Bruno Bear announce they are to be married, Hilda promises to make it perfect. Episode 35 A Tough Test While Miss Honey's on vacation, Mr. John Tough is the classes’ substitute teacher, and boy does he work the kids hard. The First Pyramid Imhotep is so busy designing a monument to honour King Sozer that he has no time to play with his son, Twomotep. The Big Date Scotty Dog invites Professor Dog out on a date, and Billy's shocked. Episode 36 Inventor of the Year An informative class on inventors inspires Huckle to invent things to make his life easier. Macaroni Polo Macaroni Polo is delighted to learn that he'll accompany his older brother, Marco, to China. Lone Wolf at the Lighthouse Everyone says the lighthouse keeper, Lone Wolf, is a grumpy old fellow Episode 37 Fun-Time Riddle Race Who will win the first ever fun-time riddle race? Huckle, Lowly, or Billy? The First Balloon When Ember asks why some things can fly and others can't, she gets the two brothers thinking. Billy Dog's Space Rock Billy's delighted when his mother tells him he can borrow her meteorite for Show and Tell. Episode 38 The Best Amusement Park Ever Mr. Shaggy Sheepdog is going to close his amusement park, even though Benny, Harry, and Wolfgang think all the amusement park needs is some new paint. The First Bridge Bump and Thump, our very inventive Cave Pigs, they are back in an all-new adventure as they try to make it over the river in search of berries. Say Cheese Please! The new class picture gives Miss Honey a great idea for a school project: family portraits. Episode 39 Has Anyone Seen My Book? When Huckle and Lowly sell Sally's favourite book, they promise to get it back. P.J. Pig's Brave Day P.J. Pig dreams of becoming a brave knight, so when Princess Lily is taken captive by a fierce dragon, he leads the royal guard to the dragon's lair. Vanderbuilt's New Shoes Mr. Gronkle's nephew, Vanderbuilt The Third, fails the try-outs for the soccer team. Vanderbuilt decides he needs fancy running shoes to get on the team. Episode 40: The Perfect Gentleman Bananas Gorilla offers to show Rita around, but little does he know how complicated going on a date is. The Best Painter Ever Michael Antelope is delighted when Padre Giovanni asks him to paint the Sistine Chapel. Best Day for Denis Denis has had better days. Denis doesn’t think he’s much good for anything, when his nose tells him there’s a fire somewhere in Busytown. He urges the firefighters to follow him. Episode 41: A Trip Back in Time Huckle and Lowly wonder why Mr. Fixit is so excited about inventing an elevator, until they find out it’s really a time machine. Home Sweet Home Bump and Thump, the first inventors ever, decide to help their clumsy friend, Clunk, find a "cave: of his own," but all the caves are taken. P.S. Pig’s Special Friend P.S. Pig is not happy because all she does is deliver mail and never receives any herself. Episode 42: Mr. Fixit’s Magnet Machine Mr. Fixit’s been inventing again, and this time, it’s something very "attractive" – a huge magnet machine. Sneef and Sniff at the Opera Sneef, the best detective in Europe tries to solve a big crime at the opera house in Milan. The Diva's pearls have been stolen and she lost her voice. Mr. Gronkle Won’t Mind Huckle, Lowly, and Father Cat plan to spend a beautiful spring day together, but everything they do lands Father Cat on Mr. Gronkle’s property – uninvited. Episode 43: Peter’s Visit Huckle and Lowly return from summer camp to find that Sally’s got an imaginary friend, Peter. The First Skis Ever When Bjorn gets stuck in an avalanche, it’s up to his little brother to rescue him, only he’s so little, he can’t make it through the deep snow. Bjorn uses his head to find a way through the snow, and he invents the first skis. Stage Fright There’s going to be a big public speaking contest for the kids in Busytown, and everyone wants to win – everyone except for Denis. Episode 44: End of the Rainbow When Sally, Bridget, and Robbie see a rainbow, they set out to find their own pot of gold. A Signal for Peng Pau uses fireworks to signal his father working on the Great Wall of China that his wife is going to have a baby. Mr. Frumble’s Birthday Party When Mr. Frumble sees a pile of unmailed invitations on his kitchen table, he remembers it’s his birthday and he’s throwing himself a birthday party. Episode 45: Bananas the Magician Bananas Gorilla decides to become a magician, but after only one day of practicing he gives up. The First Horseless Carriage When Nicholas Cugnot and his family discover that steam can move things, they invent the first ever steam carriage but forget about breaks! Princess Hilda When Hilda Hippo is on the set at the Busytown Broadcasting Center, she has a field day cooking up a storm, while all her friends tune in for the show. Episode 46: Daylight Savings Time Mr. Tick Tock gets stuck in the clock tower and is unable to change the time back one hour for Daylight Savings Time. Eager Beaver’s Clever Game Eager Beaver is a soldier who would much rather play than work. The Pickle Car Wash Busytown has its first ever automatic car wash and Scotty Dog has set it up just right. Episode 47: Triple A Deliveries Huckle and Lowly go into business: Triple A Deliveries: Anything, Anywhere, Anytime. Stanley’s Amazing Photograph Young Stanley is a photographer’s apprentice with a vivid imagination, and not too great a knowledge of how to take pictures. Lost in the Swamp Huckle, Lowly, and Sally head to Nana Cat’s house by themselves for the first time ever. Episode 48: Mr. Fixit’s Super Submarine At the launching of Mr. Fixit’s submarine, Huckle and Lowly find themselves all alone floating out into Busy Bay – and the sub is sinking. Cahuchu’s Magic Tree Little Cahuchu has a lively imagination and is always telling tall tales, so it’s hard for him to convince his parents about a tree with magic bouncing sap. Mr. Bean’s Restaurant The grand opening of Mr. Bean’s drive-in restaurant turns sour when Busytown discovers all he serves is beans. Episode 49: Abe and Babe’s Christmas Lesson Abe and Babe haven’t been very good all year long, so they’re sure the bags of coal outside their house are their gifts from Santa. Sally Cat’s Christmas Dream Sally has a dream on Christmas Eve and finds herself in the North Pole where Santa and his elves are in quite a state. The Best Christmas Present Ever The Cat family is expecting a baby, and Father Cat is thrown for a loop when Mother Cat tells him "It’s time" on Christmas Eve. Episode 50: The Best Car Trip Ever The kids are really disappointed when Father Cat won’t stop at Splashland on their way to the beach for a vacation. Earnest’s Dish You Can Eat It’s the St. Louis World Fair, and Ernest has a sure-fire way to win the Best New Dish contest. Cousin Russ Huckle is very happy his cousin Russ is moving to Busytown from England. Episode 51: Fill’er up Scotty Busytown comes to a stop when Scotty Dog runs out of gas and the tanker truck breaks down on the highway. The Niagara Falls Mystery Cucumber and Pickles are on a photo shoot at Niagara Falls when the falls dry up. Helper’s Helpers Deputy Flo and Sergeant Murphy are usually the ones to help people in Busytown, so when they get stuck in a cave, all of Busytown turns out to return the favour. Episode 52: Who’s Afraid of the big Eclipse Professor dog tells the school about the total eclipse to be expected that afternoon – an event so rare it happens only once every 360 years. Hold Your Breath! In ancient Greece, Toula and her father are in for some good luck when a dolphin swims alongside their fishing boat – and they catch a gold necklace in their net. Pumpkin Heads It’s the Busytown County Fair and Huckle, Sprout, and Lowly plan to enter the Biggest Pumpkin contest. Episode 53: The Mole Machine Mr. Fixit is delighted with his new invention — a machine that will take him to the center of the Earth. The Royal Game of Denis The monks in Abbot Thomas' monastery are very happy, except for Brothers Denis and Pierre: they're responsible for the cleaning and doing the dishes. Now That's Progress Mr. Gronkle is fed up with his ancestral castle which is falling down, so he decides to tear it down and build a modern shopping centre in its place. Episode 54: Superstitious Bananas Bananas is doomed to bad luck... or at least that's what he thinks, and he ends up causing himself and Busytown lots of bad luck. Pépé le Gangstaire Couscous, the greatest detective in North Africa, is shocked to learn that Pépé le Gangstaire and his gang of dirty rats are to be let out of jail. Drive-Through Movie Mr. Frumble is delighted to learn that Busytown is going to get its first ever drive-in movie. Episode 55: King and Queen for a Day It's Busytown Day, and a delighted Hilda, and a not so delighted Huckle are chosen as King and Queen. The Piggy Express Through rain, sleet, snow, and the dark of night, the mail must get through... or does it? Well, little Piggy S. Press thinks it should. Practice Makes Perfect Huckle, Hilda, Lynnie, and Lowly aren't too keen on Miss Honey's selection of music for the school recital, so they don't practice nearly enough. Episode 56: The Winners There's going to be a big race in Busytown, and the first prize is a neato bike and everyone wants to win. No More Games, Manuel Little Manuel and his lively imagination are back as he and Pedro play jungle explorers. We Won't Go to the Doctor Pig Will and Pig Won't have their own ideas about what happens when you go to the doctor's. Episode 57: Never Too Small All the big kids are playing basketball, and Sally and Robbie want to play too, but they're a little too small to compete. Albert, the Belgian Barge Captain It's time for the big festival of giants in Belgium, and Albert and his wife think they have the best giant costume ever. Rainy Day It's raining, it's pouring, and Huckle, Lowly, and Sally are bored stiff. Episode 58: Mr. Gronkle Comes to Stay When renovations are required after a fire, grouchy Mr. Gronkle must look for some place to stay. Leo-pardo's Smile Leo-pardo Da Vinci is great at everything he does. He's a genius. So a rich merchant asks him to paint the portrait of his daughter, Mona. Blooming Busytown Mr. Root is given a very difficult task by Mayor Fox: to make Busytown Bloom. Episode 59: Match-Makers Huckle, Lowly, Hilda, and Sally come to the realization that P.S. Pig and Mr. Frumble are two adults in Busytown who are alone, so the kids work to get Mr. Frumble and P.S. Pig together — not an easy task. Forget-bur Never Forgets In Uruk, in 3,000 B.C. the royal architect, Forget-Bur has a problem: he keeps forgetting things and wishes there was some way he could remember. Tooth Trouble It's happened. Hilda has a tooth ache and she is in denial, so Lowly decides to accompany her to the dentist. Episode 60: The New Neighbours There's a new neighbour moving to Busytown, and she's moving into the old spooky house. The First Halloween Ever A long long time ago, a man and his wife are fed up being scared, so they try to scare the ghosts themselves but only scare the other villagers instead. This starts a new tradition of dressing up and saying...Boo! Now I Know my One, Two, Threes Sally is having trouble learning her numbers, so much so that she decides she doesn't need numbers and doesn't have to learn them. Episode 61: Mr. Gronkle Moves Away On a particularly busy day in Busytown, Mr. Gronkle gets fed up with the hustle and bustle and the NOISE. So he decides to move to the country. Counting Chickens Long ago, before people knew their numbers, a young scribe is given the task of taking inventory of a wealthy man's estate. The Spelling Bee Billy is not a great speller, but when luck has it and he knows how to spell the word responsibility, he is chosen to represent Busytown at a big spelling bee. Episode 62 Huckle's Feathery Friends It's spring, and while playing soccer, Huckle knocks a bird's nest out of a tree. He decides he can't leave the baby birds alone, so he takes them home to raise them until they are old enough to fly. But... how do you teach a bird to fly? All you need are a couple of feather dusters, a lot of patience, some luck, and a great deal of love. The First Valentine Ever We don't really know who invented the first valentine, but it's pretty certain that that person was in love, just like the Roman emperor's secretary who loves the emperor's daughter. But how to make her notice him? Give her a gift. And that's exactly what he does, but the emperor keeps intercepting the gifts. Finally, with determination but in great fear, the secretary tells the emperor's daughter he loves her. Well, she loves him too. And that's just what the emperor was hoping for. The Sleepover When Denis is invited to Sprout Goat's sleepover, he realizes that he's a little scared about sleeping in a barn and away from home. Episode 63 Count on us There's going to be a big bikeathon in Busytown to raise money for charity.
